Bodybuilder Akiko Bicep Flex. As I mentioned in The Many Faces of Akiko Daimon, I wasn't thrilled with the way the GIF animation in Akiko Daimon by Jun Tsukasa looked. When it was scaled down that small, it lost a lot of detail and gained a lot of graininess. I decided to work off my original source and create a cropped 150x150 pixel version of the pic that would maximize the detail of the animation while still falling in the realm of fair use. I played around with a bunch of different croppings, and this one worked the best. I had everything just perfect and then realized that a few of the frames of the animation revealed more of Akiko than I intended, if you know what I mean. So a quick pixel blur filter on the offending frames, and some adjustment on the timings, and the result is an animation that does Akiko justice I think. By doing this, I'm able to show a little more of the animation than in the original GIF, and you can watch as Akiko flexes and pops her top. I hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed making it.
