Akiko Daimon by *WakaBee. Yup, it's another commission of my favorite game character, Akiko Daimon: Mah-jongg Manga Muscle Girl. I was really taken with Wakabee's style, and there's some awesome pieces in his gallery. Here's some of the artwork that I liked:



I hit him up for a commission, and he was quick in responding. He put together these 2 concepts for Akiko. I ended up picking the second option, but it was hard to pick between the two. Was surprised how quickly he took that from sketch to flat colors. I asked him to make some changes to the shape of the bicep based on the previous work in progress pic.

Just a lot of browsing through DevArt for artists I think have a good grasp on muscular anatomy. :)
