A muscular Blue Mary by Buuzen, final version. I was really happy with the previous commissions that Buuzen did for me (Akiko Daimon and Chun-Li) so I asked him to complete the trifecta by doing a picture of my favorite SNK gal, Blue Mary. This pic is also available for faving and comments in Buuzen's gallery as Commission Blue mary.

Had problems with the PSD file that he sent for the last commission, but no problems this time around. I tried to adjust a few things initially on some of the layers, but for some reason, GIMP tended to make colors darker than they were in the original. So I reverted the changes and just took a look around in his layers. He has a pretty unique coloring style. As you can see from the WIP piece, the inks are very loose. And it appears from the Photoshop document that he colors right over the pencils instead of the inks. Interesting technique, and it produces good results for him. So with this pic, I've completed my ABC commission trifecta (Akiko, Blue Mary, Chun-Li) and will try to put all the characters together in some way soon. Buuzen is one of the few artists I've worked with that offers coloring commissions in addition to his own stuff, and I plan to take advantage of it. I've asked him to color some of the lineart in my gallery and I'm hoping the results are as good as his coloring on his own works.
