Akiko Daimon by Jun Tsukasa

If you've looked at my profile or my Devianticon, you'll know I'm a huge fan of TSUKASA Jun ( 司淳 ). I've capitalized the family name in the previous sentence to make it clearer, since I realize it's confusing that I've been switching between the American and Asian conventions for names. I mentioned his artwork before in Queen's Blade Risty, but just realized that I haven't gone further in depth yet. If you don't know about it, you need to check out my Jun Tsukasa series of posts at Amaz0ns.com as it has lots of great artwork by him. My icon is from a character named Akiko Daimon ( 大門明子 ) from the PC Mahjongg game Taisen Hot Gimmick Forever ( 対戦 ホット ギミック フォーエバー ), and you'll find some larger images and some animated gifs in Part 4 and Part 10. Make sure to check it out.

Note: I had some problems with the thumbnails due to some weirdness which DeviantArt parses HTML, so you'll have to refer to the original post in order to get all the working clickable thumbnails.

I've mentioned this one before, but it bears repeating. Jun Tsukasa provides the artwork for Taisen Hot Gimmick Forever ( 対戦 ホット ギミック フォーエバー ) which features a girl from a bodybuilding club called Akiko Daimon ( 大門明子 ). The Taisen Hot Gimmick series is a Mahjongg game played by Japanese rules, and this particular title is the fourth one in the series.

The game was originally released in the arcades, and was ported to the PC by a company MyHarvest. The site for the PC conversion has some more good images from the game. There's a product page for it at [link] ( you'll need to click on the link labeled [はい] ), but it's not in stock there anymore. It's pretty hard to find these days, but I was lucky enough to grab it from an on-line store called HimeyaShop. Unfortunately, it's not available from there anymore. If you can find a copy, it will run under the English version of Windows XP.

Akiko-chan is one of the first players that you'll play against. Each opponent starts out with a certain amount of points, and you play until you either run out of points or you win three hands in a row. The rules of the game are very close to Gin Rummy, and the goal is to make hands of three-of-a-kind or three-in-a-row with all your available tiles. You can claim your opponents discarded tiles ("chi" or "pon") or draw tiles until you can win via a "ron". The path to winning is made easier by various power-ups that you can use which make it more likely to complete your sets.

After beating your opponent, you're given the choice to punish them or to let them be. Each character has two different punishments. In the case of Akiko-chan, you can force her to do some posing or do some weightlifting. As she poses, she flexes her chest up to a point where her top comes flying off. In the weightlifting punishment, she's topless on a bench with the barbell covering her chest as she lifts and exposes more of her breasts. The jiggle factor is high in the scenes. I managed to get some screencaps of the punishments, and even put together a worksafe animated gif of the posing punishment. I've got a higher resolution version which I'll post if there's demand for it.

If you can hunt down a copy, it's definitely worthwhile just for these few scenes. It was a bit of a challenge to beat the whole game, and a lot of the other characters are also quite attractive. Some of the other punishments in the game are pretty interesting. There are also two hidden characters which you can unlock. If you manage to score a copy, I'd be happy to help if you have any problems winning.

Heeey so THAT'S where she's from. I've seen those images before and never could find what collection/artbook/whatever they were in..
Yup, it's from Hot Gimmick. I haven't really ever played these types of games before, and I have to say it's somewhat addicting. I can see why they're popular in Japan.

An Elee post series wouldn't be complete without Tsukasa-sensei.
Yup. Now if only I can find some new material to post about...
