Akiko Daimon: Mahjongg Manga Muscle Girl commission by the excellent Justin Long. I first saw artwork from this artist in *pumpmonger's gallery, and he's commissioned several awesome images from the artist like these:
Was happy to find out the artist was open for commission and asked him for his take on Akiko. I liked first sketch submitted. Asked for some minor changes around the arms and the chest. I'm a fan of smaller joints, and felt they were a little large in the original. The second pic looked good, and I asked him to continue.
He submitted this colored version and asked if there were any changes. I felt Akiko needs her traditional green headband and asked him to make that change, along with some minor color adjustments. Anxiously awaiting the next version.
