Akiko Daimon: Mah-jongg Manga Muscle Girl, strikes again! This time, the artist responsible is *angryangryasian. I had been on his commission list since late October, and I think the artist felt bad about having me wait that long. I think the wait was worth it though, as I'm pretty happy with the the final piece. It came out a little dark, and I'm hoping the artist will send a PSD file so that I can tweak the colors a bit. After sending the final version, he gathered some of the works in progress for me to post. I was surprised to learn that he does all his work on one layer and just paints over everything. It's kind of cool to see the progression of it. He's laid down the background colors first in the previous work-in-progress piece, and then colors over it here.
